The waves whispered secrets of the sea, The sky painted dreams for all to see.   ✨ A Sunset to Remember   ๐ŸŒž The sun dipping into the ocean, painting the sky in shades of gold, yellow, pink and lavender. The waves gently kiss the shore, a soft rhythm that feels like nature’s own heartbeat. This is Ormond Point, nestled between Elwood and St Kilda, a little slice of heaven that Micky and I discovered on an ordinary day turned extraordinary.  ๐Ÿ’‘ The Path Less Taken   ๐Ÿšถ‍♀️๐Ÿƒ‍♂️ We started our journey on the scenic walking and running track that hugs the coastline, weaving through lush greenery and offering stunning views of Port Phillip Bay. Both countries are enjoying a public holiday on the same day!  ๐ŸŽ‰ But there’s more to the day than just fun. Events like the  WugulOra Morning Ceremony  in Sydney honor the resilience of Indigenous culture, reminding us of the importance of reflection . A Quick History Lesson Australia Day marks the arrival of the First Fleet at Port Jackson in 1788, where Captain Arthur Phillip raised the British flag. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ It’s not all cheers and beers.  For many Indigenous Australians, this day represents a painful reminder of colonization and loss of culture because it marks the beginning of British colonization in 1788.  This event led to significant loss of land, culture, and lives for the First Nations people. For man...
